Cream butter until light and fluffy.
Add ½ cup powdered sugar and vanilla and mix well.
Add flour, salt, and cinnamon gradually mixing with a spatula until well blended.
Chill dough for one hour.
Preheat oven to 375°.
Mold 1 Tablespoon cookie dough around each chocolate kiss, covering kiss completely.
Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 375° until cookies just turn golden around the edges, about 15-18 minutes.
Let cool for 5 minutes on the cookie sheet then remove to wire rack and roll in powdered sugar while warm.
When completely cool, roll in powdered sugar again.
