Honey Carrots
Make these carrots about 30 minutes before the turkey is done.
- 6 cups water
- 5 cups thinly sliced carrots
- 3 Tablespoons fresh flat-leaf parsley chopped
- 2 Tablespoons honey
- ½ teaspoon grated orange rind
- salt
- pepper
In a medium saucepan, bring water to a boil.
Add carrots and cook for 20 minutes or until tender when pierced with a fork. Drain.
Place carrots and remaining ingredients in a large bowl and toss until mixed well.
