Chocolate Covered Cranberries

The sweet chocolate coating combined with the surprise of sour cranberry make a fun holiday treat!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 12 oz. pkg. cranberries rinsed, sorted, and dried
  • 1 12 oz. pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 2 Tablespoons shortening

Instructions
 

  • Melt chocolate chips and shortening over low heat, stirring frequently until melted.    
  • Using a toothpick, dip cranberries in the chocolate until coated and place on a plate covered with wax paper.
  • Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
