Sausage/Cheese Rolls

My kids love these so I always make a double batch because they don’t last long! You can buy pre-cooked sausage links, or cook them the night before to save time in the morning.


10-1 ounce link sausages, cooked
2 ounces sharp Cheddar cheese
1-11 ounce can refrigerated biscuits
2 Tablespoons cornmeal

Cook sausage in a skillet until browned, and drain well.  Cut cheese into strips.
Roll each biscuit into a 4″ circle on wax paper sprinkled with cornmeal. Place a cheese strip and sausage in the center of each biscuit. Fold over, and pinch edges to seal.
Place on a lightly greased baking sheet and bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes.

Yield: 10 rolls
