This steak is super quick to make and tastes great over rice.
1-2 lb. flank steak
1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper
1/2 cup soy sauce
4 teaspoons cornstarch
2 teaspoons sugar
4 teaspoons dark sesame oil
1 red bell pepper sliced thinly
1/4 cup dry-roasted peanuts
Slice the steak against the grain into thin strips. In a bowl combine steak with garlic and crushed red pepper. In a small bowl, combine soy sauce, cornstarch and sugar, whisking until smooth. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add red bell peppers and stir fry for two minutes. Add meat mixture and stir fry until browned. Add soy sauce mixture and cook until meat is done and sauce is slightly thickened. Serve over rice.
