This appetizer looks beautiful on a platter for a holiday party and the spices give the cheese a fantastic flavor!
1-16oz. round Brie
1-15 oz. can whole-berry cranberry sauce
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
2 Tablespoons spiced rum
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/4 cup pecans, toasted and chopped
Trim rind from top of Brie, leaving a 1/3″ border on top. Place on baking sheet. Stir together cranberry sauce, brown sugar, rum and nutmeg. Spread mixture evenly over top of Brie. Sprinkle evenly with pecans. Bake at 500 degrees for 5 minutes. Serve with assorted crackers.
